Type: Contract, 6 months, with potential to lead to full-time.
We are looking for an engineering-minded business development professional to help grow the firm's client base across manufacturing, product development, and industrial sectors in Ontario. This is a role for someone who understands engineering services well enough to speak credibly with technical decision-makers, and who can turn relationships into engagements.
Identifying and reaching manufacturers, product teams, and R&D organizations that need engineering support; representing the firm's capabilities credibly; building and managing a pipeline from first contact through to scoped engagement; working directly with the firm's engineering lead on proposals and client strategy.
A background or strong working familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, or technical services; demonstrated success in business development, sales, or client relationships in a technical field; excellent communication and the credibility to engage senior decision-makers; self-directed, organized, and comfortable owning a pipeline.
An existing network in Ontario manufacturing or product development, and familiarity with engineering consulting or testing services.
